This unique nonprofit learning academy for twice-exceptional children, located in Newport Beach, CA, serves students ages 5-13. Students are provided an individualized, strengths-based education with credentialed teachers, led by Gayle Bentley, while working with Dr. Lamis Jabri, a board-certified psychiatrist and her team of behavioral support specialists.

I was lucky enough to meet Scott Barry Kaufman at the 2023 SENG conference in Philadelphia. This is my favorite of his TED Talks, as he describes his experience as a frustrated high schooler whose teachers have low expectations of his abilities.
